Intended for confident players who are comfortable with the rules, can play independently, and enjoy a faster-paced game with a focus on strategy, efficiency, and friendly competitive play.

New to mahjong? This is the place to start. Learn the tiles, the rules, and the rhythm of the game in a warm, no-pressure group setting. Grab a seat or bring your crew, registration is per player!
Continue your journey into American mahjong with a 2 hour lesson! Decode the NMJL card, get stronger with your Charleston strategy, review the rules and gain confidence. Lesson begins promptly, please plan accordingly!
Ready to learn American Mahjong from the ground up? Our 4-part intro series takes you step-by-step from “What are all these tiles?” to confidently playing a full game! Each class builds on the last with hands-on instruction, guided practice, and plenty of time to play.
This 4-part skills series is designed for players who already know the basics (have taken at least a 101 class) and are comfortable playing a full game! Each class focuses on a key skill that can help you make more confident decisions at the table. Skills covered include The Charleston, Defensive Play, Pivoting, and Death in Mahj.
Have you taken a 101 class and are now ready to practice with support? A facilitated session where an instructor is on hand to answer questions as you play — great for newer players building confidence.
